MEP Consulting

When your building has a problem with the HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing systems, our Mechanical Engineers can provide solutions.  Older systems tend to get tweaked over the years as they deteriorate to solve immediate issues and end up at a point where they just don’t work correctly anymore.  Using a “whole building” holistic approach, we can solve these problems in ways that are best for the building, its occupants, and owners. 

ESG Consulting

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations help maintain a holistic view of developing sites, constructing and operating buildings, and utilizing infrastructures with a focus on local, regional, national and global environmental and socio-economic impact factors. NPC can help Clients evaluate existing buildings for ESG attributes as part of transactional real estate due diligence.  

Facade Consulting

Facades are complicated systems with many components to keep the weather out of your building, with leaks being one of the most common issues.  Our Engineers and Architects investigate and provide solutions to façade problems. 

ADA Consulting

NPC performs ADA Surveys of all building types, with a specialty in hotels.  Our full ADA surveys include the 1991 and 2010 standards, along with State and Local Codes.  These are performed as a part of pre-purchase due diligence, renovation planning, and even change of use.  We include recommendations for compliance and budgets.

Condo Reserve Study

Every condo should complete a periodic Reserve Study in order to understand and plan for capital replacements and minimize special assessments.  We perform these in accordance with the National Reserve Study Standards of CAI. 

Condo Structural Integrity Reserve Study (SIRS) – Florida

The SIRS is a relatively new service required by Florida law.  The law requires that a SIRS be performed at all condo buildings of three stories or more with reports submitted by the end of 2024.  Our Florida Engineers will evaluate the Structural, Building Envelope, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems as required by the law and prepare recommendations and a reserve schedule for those systems.
