Steven Wagner is a seasoned critical facilities and infrastructure professional with more than 20 years of experience in facility assessments, mission-critical operations, construction management, and capital planning, including CEO of a small company. His background spans healthcare, government, commercial, and data center environments, where he has successfully led facility evaluations, managed complex projects, and developed strategic solutions to improve operational reliability and reduce risk. Known for his strong leadership, analytical approach, and commitment to client success, Steven excels at translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that support informed decision-making and long-term asset performance. Q: You came to NPC after a long career running your own business. How does that experience align with your new role at NPC?
A: As a business owner, my most rewarding projects were those that allowed me to solve complex customer challenges while exceeding expectations. I took great pride in understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering solutions that went beyond the original scope whenever possible. My focus was always on providing a first-class product, exceptional quality, and lasting value, ensuring the customer received not only what was promised but a superior overall experience.

Q: What do you like about the work you do?
A: What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to build strong client relationships and see the positive impact of quality service. Receiving feedback from satisfied customers is especially rewarding because it reflects the commitment, attention to detail, and professionalism invested in every project. Delivering consistent results and earning a client’s trust often leads to long-term partnerships and repeat business, which I view as a true measure of success.

Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and taking advantage of the outdoors. Much of my free time is spent fishing and hunting, activities that allow me to relax, recharge, and appreciate nature while maintaining the same patience, focus, and discipline that I bring to my professional life.
