Q: What’s your favorite project all-time project?
A: I’ve completed PCA/ESA projects across 50 states, so it’s hard to pick out a singular favorite—there are too many unique properties in incredible locations, sometimes operating in highly-specialized capacities. My most memorable project was a combined PCA/ESA at the Hilton Grand Naniloa Hotel & Resort in Hilo, Hawaii, in 2018. I arrived on the island during the Kīlauea volcanic eruption, when nearby communities lost 700 homes with the resort over capacity helping to house 2,000+ displaced residents from the spreading fires. Conducting the inspections with active lava flows visible and ash-darkened skies made for a surreal experience. 

Q: What do you like about the work you do?
A: I enjoy the balance between fieldwork and analysis. One day I’m onsite exploring a unique property; the next, I’m connecting the dots—turning observations into a clear, proactive plan to maintain and extend the life of the asset.

Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: I spend most of my free time with my daughter, Harper. We enjoy playing disc golf, throwing the football, painting, and sharing a love of music.
